It’s that time of the month ladies and gents and this month’s instalment is gonna be scary good. Suckerpunch is proud to present:
**SUCKERPUNCH ZOMBIE DISCO FANCY DRESS SPECIAL**

EVIL NINE (DEX ‘N FX 2 HOUR SET)
ANDY H
MR SHANKS
TIMMY DUTCH
KROOK-KID
BIBLIOTECH
Bloomin’ hell! I think I have only just recovered from the 1st Birthday party. It feels like only a few hours ago we were partying like werewolves from the set of Jacko’s thriller to the sounds of A.Skillz and Trevor Loveys – the club, the guest DJs, the residents and you lot made it ka-frickin-fantastic.
Now its the turn of one of the best DJ / Production outfits in the world to come join us at ‘lil old’ DQ for a Zombie Disco of frightenly good proportions. It’s time to dig out our (not so glad) rags from the coffin, give them a brush and rise from our dreary sleep 6ft under. Ahhhhh yeeeeah it’s EVIL NINE!!
Evil Nine have experienced huge success the world over, releasing two critically acclaimed albums ‘You Can Be Special Too’ & ‘They Live!’, which include collaborations with the likes of Aesop Rock, EL-P, Autokratz, Juice Aleem, Toastie Taylor & Emily Breeze.
Tom & Pat Evil were quickly signed by breaks pioneer Adam Freeland to his Marine Parade label. Since then each of their releases have distinguished Evil Nine as innovators who refuse to blend into the scene. Forthcoming remixes of NASA, The Temper Trap, Juice Aleem & Ian Brown are imminent whilst the duo are currently working on new material for release on Marine Parade.
We’re sooooo excited to have the lads back & join us at Suckerpunch for a stunning decks ‘n’ FX set – every time they perform they seemlessly blend the darkest sounds of electro, breaks and techno to devasting effect (scary). Now equipped with Funktion One sound, DQ has never been more prepared to face such a menace on the turntables. We’re going to wake the dead.
We’re also drafting in our boy Krook Kid to join the Suckerpunch residents to keep the disco of doom alive to the early hours of the morning. With that and you ‘orrible lot in fancy dress – this event looks set to go down as the most terrifying chapter in our year long history. It’s gonna be EVIL.
DQ is getting dark. Very dark.
Miss this at your peril.
Fri 19th March @ DQ, Fitzwilliam St., Sheffield. 10pm ’til 4am.

I don’t know if the owner of this Best Buy new what he was getting himself into when he booked Diplo and Skerrit Boy. While Diplo was having his way with the decks, skerrit boy was doing the same to the hottest girl in the crowd, he’s got some moves you’ll probably be itching to try yourself so check it out.

Judging by Radio1′s massive play count on this track I’m guessing everyone’s loving it at the moment. If you’ve missed out here’s a link to Red Mist VIP mix.
Danny Byrd- Red Mist VIP
It’s featured in Hospitals new compilation Sick Music which is definitely worth a listen. The accuratelly titled album has a nice mishmash of Hospitals veterans like London Elektricity, Cyantific and Total Science mixed with the likes of Apex, Randomer and B-complex. The result being another awesome showcase from Hospitals top beat surgeons which is best summarized as sick.
