I don’t know what it is about Bristol and Dubstep producers but here’s yet another fellah doing them proud. His distinctive sound is a smooth blend of dubstep, DnB and breaks. It may sound like a hectic time but it’s far from it, think burial without the uniform drum loops. Enjoy!

Judging by Radio1′s massive play count on this track I’m guessing everyone’s loving it at the moment. If you’ve missed out here’s a link to Red Mist VIP mix.

It’s featured in Hospitals new compilation Sick Music which is definitely worth a listen. The accuratelly titled album has a nice mishmash of Hospitals veterans like London Elektricity, Cyantific and Total Science mixed with the likes of Apex, Randomer and B-complex. The result being another awesome showcase from Hospitals top beat surgeons which is best summarized as sick.

Flute samples remixed a la drum and bass. Apparently the sample came from some advert with Ronaldinho, anyways the point is it’s worth a listen plus the stop motion video’s pretty cool too! The German producer J-Cut has some more liquidy DnB on his myspace which is pretty chill. Get it here!
Disturbances have been heard in and around the Sheffield area due to the recent Suckerpunch booking. Turning up late for his own press conference Suckerpunch distilled the angry crowd that had gathered around Suckerpunch HQ. At one point a local student got carried away and threw her half eaten Johns Van at Suckerpunch. I don’t know who was more hurt; John or the appalled crowd at the apparent disregard of Johns Van’ Egg and Bacon Butty. After the commotion had settled, Suckerpunch with his deep penetrating voice, professed that the headliner for the ‘End of Term Suckerpunch Special’ on Friday 19th June would be Zed Bias. A World Class booty-shaking breaks and garage producer/DJ from Manchester. It is reported that the spectators cheered with happiness and thanked Suckerpunch for the choice his next clubnight held at DQ.
